Business Support

Forums, mentoring and coaching, training, masterclasses, events, quarterly newsletter

CBP offers a holistic business support programme through regular Employer Forums, a series of different mentoring or coaching programmes, training, workshops, regular networking events, business masterclasses and regular newsletters.

Volunteering

We’re on the constant lookout for volunteers, to support the many projects delivered by CB Partners. We provide volunteer mentors with initial mentor training and ongoing continual professional development. These opportunities also include an ILM approved course to support the long-term unemployed.

We can offer a specific course that enables organisations to effectively manage volunteers.

Mentors

One of our original projects is the Guardian Angel Entrepreneurs Network – a mentoring programme for leadership development and business growth.  That expertise has grown into a host of mentoring initiatives across Lancashire, Cheshire, Greater Manchester and, as part of a wider network across the Northwest and includes business and personal Mentoring and Coaching; in one-to-one or group situations, eMentoring and Community Mentoring & Coaching.

Additionally, we have specially trained mentors (ILM approved) who can also work with families with multiple issues and the long-term unemployed. This support addresses chaotic lifestyles and other barriers enabling entrance into work and sustainablilty thereof.

Corporate Social Responsibility Improvement

For many businesses the opportunity to ‘give back’ to the community comes high on the agenda. Here at CBP we have created opportunities for business to contribute and engage with other businesses and industry, schools, employers, charities, public sector organisations and local communities. CBP encourages companies to reduce their carbon footprint and develop a social responsibility programme.  SAMS (Scrap Art Material Store) places the spotlight firmly on recycling and reusing, actively encouraging environmental awareness within the local business community.
